Thanksgiving dinners provided for single moms in the Minooka community

Thanksgiving Dinners for Single Moms

30 Thanksgiving dinner boxes were delivered November 16-17, 2017 to single moms in the Minooka area. The boxes contain stuffing mix, gravy, green beans, mushroom and chicken soups, fruit, coffee, and dessert. A bag of potatoes and a turkey are also part of the delivery. Over 100 struggling families in the Minooka/Channahon area received food last night at the monthly food truck. Reclaimed partners with The Village Christian Church and Northern Illinois Food Bank to provide 10,000lbs of food for families in the community that need help with groceries. Many volunteers, including high school students, showed up last night to serve struggling families in the Minooka/Channahon community.
